Celebration of the Sun (Summer Solstice)
Summer Solstice is fast approaching in the Northern Hemisphere, for anyone who is unfamiliar, it is June 20th and it is in celebration of energy, life, healing, awakening, love and new beginnings. June 20th is the longest day of the year, every day after the 20th the sun will go down earlier and earlier until we reach the winter solstice in December. - Summer solstice is a great day to harness the power and energy of the sun, and tackle any imbalances of the solar plexus chakra.
Our solar plexus chakra represents our self-esteem, self-worth, will power, etc. It is essentially important to bring balance to the solar plexus because it is directly connected to our ability of manifesting the life that we want. Low self-worth or self-esteem equals low vibrations. Low vibrations attracts low, or even lower vibrations. Lower vibrations keeps us stagnant, in unhealthy cycles, and in a constant state of lack.
- Great ways to celebrate the solstice includes wearing yellow in representation of the sun and our solar plexus chakra. Meditating, praying, or spending peaceful time with yourself or friends and loved ones. Resting and releasing anxiety as best you can, is also a great way to observe the day. Allow yourself a day free of worry, make yourself your first priority or your only priority on that day. Also, celebration, laughter, festivities with family, friends, or strangers is a great way to enjoy the solstice. The main objective is to surround yourself in an overflow of positive energy. Do this and watch how amplified your life will become!
- 🌞Happy solstice!🌞 -
